Practising Source Triangulation With Three Tabs

Pick a claim and open three separate tabs at once: one for the original source, one for independent coverage found elsewhere, and one for any relevant background or archival material available. Working across all three simultaneously builds the habit of triangulation directly into the browsing session itself, rather than treating it as a separate task performed later.
Notice carefully where the three tabs genuinely agree and where they diverge from one another. Divergence is not a problem that needs resolving immediately, it is genuinely useful information about where real uncertainty or disagreement actually lies, which a single source alone would never reveal to a reader relying only on it.
Over repeated practice, opening multiple tabs before forming any firm opinion becomes closer to automatic over time, shifting triangulation from a deliberate extra step into simply how information gets naturally processed by default within your own everyday reading and casual browsing habits developed over time.
