Choose an account and deliberately check its presence across every single platform where it claims to exist, comparing bios, photos and posting history carefully for consistency between them all. Doing this methodically, rather than simply glancing at whichever platform happens to already be open on your device, builds a considerably more thorough habit.

Note carefully how long the full check actually takes when it is done properly and quite thoroughly. Most people genuinely underestimate this time commitment, which helps explain why the check so often gets skipped entirely in the exact moment it would actually matter most to have done it.

Practising on a few genuinely different account types, personal, business, anonymous, builds a considerably broader intuition for what consistent, coherent presence actually looks like across each different category, which makes genuine anomalies noticeably easier to spot on sight later on, exactly when it actually matters the most to notice.
