Take an actual message you personally received fairly recently yourself in your own inbox, one that produced even just a small flicker of uncertainty at the time, and work through your full verification checklist against it quite deliberately, step by careful step, rather than relying purely on a quick, instinctive gut reaction alone in the moment.
Note carefully where the checklist felt easy and natural to apply and where it instead felt awkward or genuinely slow to work through. Those particular friction points usually point directly to exactly which part of the process needs more deliberate practice before it becomes genuinely automatic to use.
Repeating this exercise with a genuinely new, real message each time, rather than relying on a prepared training example, keeps the whole exercise honest and closely tied to the actual, ongoing verification demands of everyday daily life as it is genuinely and really lived out each and every day.
